Terms of Use

Last updated 13 August 2026  ·  Operator: Shane Lord (ABN 34 167 661 354)

1. Acceptance

By using FuelOracle you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

2. What FuelOracle does

FuelOracle is a fuel planning tool for Australian road trippers, caravanners, and overlanders. It helps you plan fuel stops based on your vehicle, route, and live fuel prices from government and community sources.

3. Fuel price data

Fuel prices are sourced from:

  • Official state government feeds (NSW incl. ACT and TAS, VIC, QLD, WA, SA)
  • Community driven reports from FuelOracle users in some remote areas

Prices are estimates only. They may be delayed, incomplete, or out of date by the time you travel. Always verify current prices and fuel availability before departing, particularly for remote or outback routes where fuel access is limited.

A trip plan is a planning tool, not a guarantee. Road conditions, weather, driving style, and vehicle load all affect actual fuel consumption. We strongly recommend maintaining a safety buffer and carrying emergency fuel on remote routes.

FuelOracle is an independent app. It does not represent a government entity, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised by any government entity or any of the agencies whose data it displays. Prices are indicative only and may differ from the price at the bowser.
