Each leg's wind is taken for the hour you reach it, and the forecast adjusts to the fuel your car actually uses.
If fuel will be lower than planned, you're offered an earlier stop. With fuel to spare, you can be offered a later, cheaper one.
Leave your planned route and the forecast pauses. After 20 minutes, FuelOracle offers to plan the rest of the trip from where you are.
Runs in the background during a trip, with the live figure and the stop sooner alert on CarPlay too.

Planning a trip asks "Where's the van for this trip?" and can add the pick-up for you.

When it is un-hitched, search for the place, use your current location or pick it on the map, and say what kind of place it is: home, storage, a caravan park or camp, or other. Mark a home or storage place as where it lives, and pick again from places you have used recently.
"Where's the van for this trip?" Planning or editing a trip shows where the van was last recorded and how long ago, and asks: pick it up there, it's hitched up, or go without the van.
Checking in at a stop asks "Is the van un-hitched here?" Answer "Yes, un-hitched" or "No, still hitched" and the trip and your van's location follow. Undoing the check-in puts both back.

Station sheet: each fuel says its last change ("Down 2.0c, changed yesterday"), what a full tank costs for your vehicle, a chart of every fuel, and Share.
Out of stock: the stations out of a fuel right now, near you, along your trip, in your state or across Australia, with the nearest station still selling it.
One station card on the Fuel page: tap a station for its prices, history, Save, Compare, Share and amenities beside the map, which stays usable. On a phone the card slides up and down.
Base camps with day trips: choose "Leave the van here", answer Yes to "Coming back here?", then add day trips from the camp. Each day trip ends at a "Back at" stop, and the last one is where you pick the van up.
Where's the van? Your caravan card shows where the van is and where it is usually kept. Set it to with you, a place you search for, or your current location. A finished towing trip records where you left the van, and never replaces a place you set later.
Planning a trip offers the van's location: pick it up on the way, go without it, or drop it where it is usually kept. Nothing changes until you choose.
Improvements
A shared station link opens that station after you sign in, even when your session had expired or the link was shared on social media.
Place names with an apostrophe read correctly, such as St Mary's and O'Connor.
A fuel a station has stopped selling no longer shows in its price history.
Leave your van at camp for a day trip and come back: the plan asks whether you are picking it up, and plans fuel to match. It never decides for you.
A towing trip where the van is never picked up says so, with a fix.
A fuel stop you require is never dropped from the plan. If it cannot be used, the plan says why.
When a plan cannot be made, the suggested fuel stops include stations on your route that a day trip had hidden.
The stop editor shows whether you are towing from each stop the way the plan sees it.
Out of stock groups the big regional cities, such as the Gold Coast, Newcastle and Townsville, on their own, and counts days from when the outage began.
Fuel trends ignore a one-off wrong price that the feed corrects within hours.
Suburbs read correctly for more NSW, ACT and Tasmania stations.
Each stop has a Van choice in place of the Towing switch: the van stays with you, leave the van here, or pick the van up here. Leaving it asks whether you are coming back, where you pick it up, or whether you stay un-hitched to the finish.
Local driving at a base camp, or at a stay of two nights or more with the van left there, is local driving without the van, planned at your vehicle's real-world economy.
Driving without the van uses your vehicle's own cruising speed, not your towing speed.
A stretch without the van, to the finish or before you collect it, now plans fuel stops along it. Before, the plan skipped every station on it and often could not be made.
Turning towing off keeps your van setup, and the plan ignores it until you turn towing back on.
Stops and the trip list say "Van: with you" or "Van: at" a place where it changes, with Un-hitch or Hitch up on the stop. The trip summary shows the real-world economy the plan uses without the van.
The caravan compliance check names the vehicle figures it is missing, such as GVM or towball limit.
The Ampol brand filter now includes Ampol Foodary and EG Ampol stations.
Fuel trends leave out a price stuck far below everything around it, such as a fuel a feed has not updated for weeks. It no longer shows as the cheapest in your area, a station's 90-day low or a "Lowest" label.
A new price far under the state's usual price gets no "Lowest" label until the nightly figures have checked it.

When a trip can't be planned, a sheet shows what's stopping it and the fixes that work: allow a skipped station, confirm fuel at an unlisted stop (call them from the sheet), fill or add jerry cans, or update your fuel level. Replanning from it doesn't count toward your daily plans.
Borrowed fuel: add fuel from someone else's jerry can to a trip, for that trip only.
Fix it from the sheet: set up jerry cans or add a stop on the stretch, with the stations along it, without leaving the sheet.

Everyday Rewards no longer claims a discount at plain Ampol and Caltex, where it does not apply. Ampol Foodary, EG Ampol and U-Go still get it.
Ampol Foodary and U-Go are now their own brands, so brand filters and brand priority treat them properly.
U-Go stations now get their Everyday Rewards discount. They had been filed under a different chain entirely.
Flybuys no longer shows at OTR stations, where it does not reliably apply. It still shows at Shell and Reddy Express.

Don't stop here - skip any planned station for the whole trip. The rule survives every plan refresh, and if a leg cannot be done without that station the plan puts it back and tells you why.
Keep going on jerry cans - when you skip a station you can cover that leg from your cans. The plan is built on tank plus the pour, and the next station refills your cans.
Plan a pour at any stop - set litres to pour from your jerry cans at a camp or waypoint in the stop editor. The planner never adds a pour itself; it only suggests one when it would save money, and you can turn those tips off.
Every stop now says where its fill takes the tank - to full, or to a percentage with the cheaper stop it is reaching for.
Trip settings on the trip page - reserve, start fuel, fill mode, priority, jerry cans and skipped stations, without opening Edit.

Random app logouts. One device presenting an old session token used to log every device out of the account, and each of those then did the same on its next refresh. Only that one session is affected now.
Fuel Lookup and trip planning could show a years-old price as if it were current. Prices that have not been updated in over 30 days are now shown as "Last known" with their age, and are no longer used to choose fuel stops.
Some stations appeared twice on the map. Duplicates within 50 m are now collapsed, so station counts in busy areas may drop slightly.
Fuel discounts were not applied at some stations because the brand code from the state feed was not recognised. Discount matching now understands the short brand codes used by the feeds.
The price colour scale in the Fuel Lookup list could mark every station as expensive when a station with no current price was in view.

Update your fuel level on the road - partway through a trip and your tank isn't where the plan assumed? Open "Update fuel level", set your current level, and FuelOracle re-plans the rest of your journey from where you actually are. It uses your location, or you can drop a pin on the map.

Switching a stop now checks it's reachable - when you switch a fuel stop to a different station, whether from the alternatives list or by tapping a station on the map, FuelOracle now re-plans the route to make sure the new station still fits within your safety margin. Amenity reports - let other travellers know what's at a station. Report whether it has food, drinking water, air, a dump point, or toilets. Reports from multiple users are combined into a consensus so the information gets more reliable over time.
Vehicle height flags - report if a station has a height restriction so taller vehicles and caravans can plan around it. Include the clearance in metres if you know it.
Vote on stations - confirm a station exists and is open, or dispute one that no longer operates. Vote counts show on each station's detail sheet.
Victorian stations show fresher community prices - the official Victorian fuel price feed has a built-in 24-hour delay. When a community price report is more recent than the official data, FuelOracle now uses the community price for that fuel type instead.
